Israel Marks Holocaust Day with Silence

Israel came to a standstill for two minutes on Tuesday to mark the death of six million Jews in the Holocaust. In parliament, the names of victims were read out in the presence of politicians, while passersby remained immobile in the streets and drivers parked their cars and came out to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day.
