Retired Wells Fargo Exec Mistakenly Jailed as Leader of National ID-Theft Ring

Denver Post: A retired vice president of Wells Fargo Bank was forced to spend nearly $50,000 in legal fees and endure two years of anguish before she convinced the Jefferson County district attorney’s office and the Wheat Ridge Police Department that she was the victim — not the leader — of a national ID-theft ring.
