Editor’s note: This clip is from a segment of the live Wednesday afternoon edition of ‘The B-Cast.’ I answered the call on my cell phone realizing it might be the only chance to get Amtrak’s side of the story. For the first few minutes you will only hear my end of the conversation as I grow increasingly amazed that Amtrak is refusing to even look into the matter. The Amtrak spokesman then mocked my assertion that given that day’s contentious segment on ‘The View’ — there might be reasonable questions about Amtrak giving special privileges to celebrities or media elites.
After we end the call I recount in more detail what had been explained to me.
