New Boy Scout Requirements Eliminate Overweight Leaders

KSTU: The Boy Scout Association is trying to implement restrictions that would force scout leaders that are considered overweight to restrict their activity. The new restrictions will mean that these leaders may lose their job or will not be able to go 30 minutes away from an evacuation point. Some scout leaders are saying that the new regulations are simply not fair because the BMI restrictions are outrageous. Some are saying a football player who may weigh a lot is not necessarily out of shape.
