21 Cases of Swine Flu Confirmed Aboard US Navy Ship

WAVY: The Centers for Disease Control has confirmed 21 cases of H1N1 flu – also known as Swine Flu – onboard the USS Iwo Jima.



The ship is scheduled to return to Norfolk later this week.



Officials saw the first case onboard on May 27th, the day before the ship left NY after participating in Fleet Week.



According to a Navy spokesperson, all of the 21 sailors and Marines who had confirmed cases of the H1N1 flu have returned to duty.
