Did Obama Break the Law in Firing of Inspector General?

Right Pundits: Gerald Walpin, who until last week was the chief internal watchdog for AmericCorps and other service programs, claims that he was fired without warning. That would be a violation of the 2008 Inspectors General Reform Act. The law states that firing an inspector general requires 30 days warning and a written explanation.

According to Walpin, he only received a written notice after he was fired.

Senate Republicans are now demanding an investigation into the firing.
