Living in Peru: Peruvian swimmer Ruben Medina fulfilled his promise: he swam with shackles on his feet from San Lorenzo island to Cantolao beach in La Punta (a distance of five kilometers).
Medina, also known as “Titicaca’s Triton”, departed from the San Lorenzo island at 12:15 hours and arrived at the Cantolao beach at 14:50 hours.
