Chicago Tribune: Two years ago she would come home tired and facing twin irritants: an empty refrigerator and kids who were “hungry and fussy and not wanting to eat anything you have in mind,” she said.
The girls were fond of pizza and hamburgers, and hitting a drive-through window often was the expedient route. “It’s like heaven. … It’s quick, it’s easy,” she said.
But when a pediatrician gave her a “tap on the shoulder,” saying she might want to modify the way the girls were eating, she paid attention.
