Shea-Porter begins walk-back on stimulus, will other vulnerable Dems follow?

Now Hampshire: In February, upon voting for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Dem. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) said, “Our goal with the stimulus is to reduce unemployment rates. … This will happen because the stimulus money will be used for building infrastructure and this will create jobs in New Hampshire.”

But in the wake of news that the stimulus bill has created very few jobs at all, the vulnerable House Democrat is quickly dialing back her support for the measure.
