The B-Cast B-Side: Limbaugh Looks Back at Landmark Reagan Speech

Rush Limbaugh: This is the 45th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s Barry Goldwater speech. Today is the 45th anniversary of the speech that launched Reagan’s national career, the “we have a rendezvous with destiny” speech forty-five years ago. Now, many in the Republican Party and many in the so-called conservative media say the era of Reagan is over. And of course this is folly, it is silly, it is stupid. This being the 45th anniversary, this speech took place during the Goldwater-Johnson-Kennedy 1964. I remember watching it and I remember saying, “Get this guy on the ticket!”
