Reid: Senate Bill Cuts Deficit by $127 Billion in Next Decade

The Hill: The CBO reported the proposal would spend $849 billion over 10 years to cover 31 million of the uninsured and reduce the federal budget deficit by $127 billion over 10 years.



“This bill is going to go good things for so many people in our society,” Reid said at the conference. “We can’t afford to really overlook what this is all about…or who this is all about.”
