WPTZ: Len Britton, a political newcomer and small businessman from Windsor County, announced his candidacy Monday for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate.
While “a long shot, of course,” Britton, 54, said he will make a sustained effort to meet thousands of Vermonters over the coming months. His family owns a lumber and hardware business near Woodstock.
