However, it wouldn’t be effective at all without the CS (2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile, also called o-Chlorobenzylidene Malononitrile) being dissolved into the organic solvent dichloromethane to form a aerosol. Dichloromethane is a greenhouse gas TEN TIMES more potent than CO2!
