WNYW: A much-talked about New York Times report that was rumored to cast Gov. David Paterson in a negative light, focused on his closest aide David Johnson and his checkered and allegedly violent past.
Johnson, 37, was arrested twice for felony drug charges as a teenager including a charge of selling cocaine to an undercover officer in Harlem. The Times reports that more recently Johnson had an arrest for misdemeanor assault in the 1990s and most damning, the story alleges that he has had three altercations with women, two of which led to calls to police.
