Hoax or Real? Who's Behind Viral Video of Conservative-Mocking 'Scarface School Play?'

NY Post: It’s brilliant, adorable and just good enough that I suspect it’s not a legit school play.



Editor’s note: The account of the YouTube poster features a woman named Cindy who presents herself as a conservative Christian. She has six kids. She never went to college. She’s a homemaker. Favorite movie: The Passion of the Christ. Music: Kenny Chesney. Books: Sarah Palin “Going Rogue.” Her “favorites” section of videos has three selections including a musical remix of the crucifixion of Jesus, a selection of self-esteem quotes, and Michael W. Smith singing “Awesome God.” About the video she says only: “Jaydon’s school put on a kids production of Scarface.”



Update: TMZ reports “it’s the work of director Marc Klasfeld and Rockhard Films who did the videos for Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” and Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment.” It was produced in L.A. within the last few weeks and the audience members were a mix of cast family members, colleagues and friends.
As for Lil’ Tony and his co-stars, they were selected through a casting agent known for finding child actor look-alikes for adult stars.”
