Cameras Roll as India Politician Shot Dead at Public Meeting

CNN: Unknown attackers shot a local politician at the podium of a public meeting in northern India Wednesday, police said.



Hanuman Sharan Shukla, member of a local district council, was gunned down at an event in Uttar Pradesh state’s Gonda district, area police inspector Bharat Yadav told CNN.
