Dem: GOP Counting on Voters Blaming Dems for Banking Bill's Failure

The Hill: [Sen. Claire] McCaskill chastised her GOP colleagues for voting against a procedural motion to begin formally debating the Democratic-led legislation to reform the nation’s financial regulations.

“They clearly are calculating that the public is so sick of all of this that, if this thing fails, because we’re in charge, we’ll get blamed,” McCaskill said during an appearance on the “Today” show. “That’s the calculation.”
