AP: Prosecutors in Denver have formally filed charges against a man suspected of mangling a shopper’s finger while stealing an iPad.
The Denver district attorney’s office said Wednesday that 20-year-old Brandon Darnell Smith faces charges of robbery and assault.
Smith hasn’t entered a plea. He’s being held under $200,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Friday. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.
