Castro Appears in Public After Four Years of Seclusion, Warns of Iran War

Fidel Castro took questions from Cuban ambassadors at the Foreign Ministry on Friday and warned them of the threat of a global nuclear war, in his most overtly political public act since re-emerging from four years of near total seclusion.

The former Cuban dictator declared that any military action against Iran will trigger a full-scale war, saying that the Islamic Republic will respond to any invasion “in seconds.”
