President Obama announces the deal struck with House Republicans on the 2011 budget that was supposed to have been passed last year by then-Speaker Pelosi. The deal includes a reduction in federal spending much higher than what the President had originally hoped for. It also retains funding for abortion provider Planned Parenthood, which the President and Congressional Democrats were willing to shut down the government and withhold pay to our troops to retain.
