On CNN’s Reliable Sources, host Howard Kurtz discussed the shameful post on Wonkette that attacked Sarah Palin’s son with Down Syndrome. But, Kurtz barely mentions the #TrigsCrew movement on Twitter that shamed Wonkette into removing the post and inspired advertisers to pull out of the site.
Then, as soon as mention is made of Andrew Sullivan’s bizarre insistence that Trig is not actually Ms. Palin’s son, Mr. Kurtz leaps up to exclaim “he’s only asking the question!”. Why would Mr. Kurtz be so quick to defend Sullivan? Could it be because Mr. Sullivan is the star blogger at The Daily Beast, the same website that employs Mr. Kurtz?
