WH Spokesman Carney Tries Very Hard Not To Answer Question About Obama Administration's Attempt to Politicize Federal Contracting

On Thursday, May 12th, the House Committees on Oversight & Government Reform and on Small Business will host a joint hearing entitled, “Politicizing Procurement: Will President Obama’s Proposal Curb Free Speech and Hurt Small Business?” The hearing will examine the proposed Obama Executive Order mandating the disclosure of political donations by government contractors as a prerequisite to receiving a government contract. The hearing will provide an opportunity for outside experts to discuss the potential implications of the Executive Order if it were to go into effect.
