Troubled Greece is being crippled by a huge nationwide strike. Hundreds of thousands of workers are protesting ahead of a parliamentary vote on a set of tax hikes and spending cuts.
Apparently, their economy fell apart because they had too many social welfare programs and a glutted federal government that expanded over time to include millions of unionized government employees. Hmmmm…..
