Despite being outspent by over 2 to 1 by Big Labor, 4 of the 6 GOP Senators targeted by recall efforts retained their seats thus keeping the Wisconsin Senate in Republican hands and ensuring that the budget reforms instituted by Gov Scott Walker will remain in place.
