During congressional hearings about the growing Solyndra scandal, Johnathon Silver claimed the Obama Administration was merely following policies put in place by the Bush Administration. However, what he failed to tell the congressional committee was that prior to Obama taking office, the Bush Administration put a freeze on plans to loan money to Solyndra due to worries over the company’s viability. Two weeks into the Obama Administration, the loan was “fast-tracked”.
