NBC News Star Al Sharpton Slams US Human Rights Record on 'Today Show'

NBC News can’t just hide behind the fact that Al Sharpton is over on that cable station MSNBC. He was propped up as an analyst on the influential “Today Show” with Matt Lauer this morning for a serious interview on last night’s execution of Troy Davis. During the interview, Sharpton unfavorably compared the United States record on human rights with the rest of the nations of the world currently visiting the UN.
