Naming names and giving out addresses, NBC News’s Lawrence O’Donnell used classic SEIU/ACORN tactics in last night’s episode of “The Last Word.” O’Donnell urged the Occupy DC movement to “Occupy the National Restaurant Association” and gave the address of the lobbying firm.
O’Donnell’s call to action appears to be in keeping with the new journalistic activism on full display every night at NBC News’s cable outlet, MSNBC. With activist-turned-“journalist” Al Sharpton leading a march on Washington in support of the president’s “Jobs Bill” and Ed Schultz pledging to give his show to Occupy Protesters “every night,” it appears MSNBC has turned their evening broadcasts into the communications department for the entire American left.
