Gingrich Praises Santorum Campaign, Welcomes 'Great Debate' Over Country's Future

Newt Gingrich, speaking after polls closed in Iowa’s GOP presidential caucus, praised Rick Santorum for his positive campaign and congratulated him for his strong performance. Though he denounced other candidates’ negative campaign ads, Gingrich said he has “the right to tell the truth” about candidates such as Romney, whose economic policy he criticized, and Paul, whose foreign policy he excoriated.
