Navy Commander On Iran: 'We're Prepared Today'

U.S. officials fear an explosive conflict with Iran in the coming months as Vice Admiral Mark Fox, Commander of the Navy’s 5th Fleet, the U.S.’s first line of defense against Iran, assured that “we’re prepared today” for “what could happen.” Iran, which recently threatened to shut down the vital Strait of Hormuz oil passageway, has countered that they are ready to use their large stockpile of ballistic missiles against the U.S. if attacked, and for all-out war should Israel launch air strikes against their nuclear program.
