Sebelius Admits No Consultation With Catholics On Contraception 'Compromise'

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) asked Health & Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius at a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the Obama administration’s budget request on what constituencies the administration consulted before announcing its changes to the contraception rule. These did not include Catholic Bishops, which has outraged the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
