MSNBC's Gregory: Santorum Underestimated

MSNBC’s David Gregory reflected on the popular meme that Sen. Rick Santorum is unelectable and that a Santorum nomination would be embraced by The White House.

Gregory pointed to late 1970s sentiments that Democrats welcomed a Reagan nomination and desires among Republicans in early 1990s for a Clinton nomination. Gregory concludes: “So is Rick Santorum more of a sleeper here in terms of posing a threat to President Obama?”
