President Obama’s campaign, trying to lower expectations, presented a confusing Robert Gibbs appearance on CBS News Thursday. Gibbs tried to set up President Obama as the “underdog” in the 2012 presidential race but then awkwardly attacked the three GOP candidates as totally uninspiring to voters.
