Tupac Lives: Appears At Coachella Via Hologram

The annual Coachella music festival was marked by a new special effects innovation projecting virtual performances from deceased music legends through a hologram effect on stage. Nick Smith, president of AV Concepts, explained: “You can take their likenesses and voice and … take people that haven’t done concerts before or perform music they haven’t sung and digitally recreate it.” Among the posthumous performers at Coachella this past weekend was legendary rapper Tupac Shakur, who has been deceased for almost exactly 15 years.
