Report: Militant Connected to Libya Consulate Attack Freed From Prison During Arab Spring

FOX News: A clearer picture is beginning to emerge about the militants who attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11. A new report claims one of the suspected leaders of the attack was among those released from prison during the Arab Spring unrest. Officials believe Muhammad Jamal Abu Ahmad is trying to convince al Qaeda’s leaders to give him money to start a terror branch in Libya. He reportedly trained some of the consulate attackers at a camp in the Libyan desert.
