Los Angeles Bans Fire Pits, Using Wood-Burning Fireplaces

Officials have banned the use of wood-burning fireplaces and fire pits, after an unusual smog pattern prompted air pollution warnings in downtown Los Angeles and parts of the San Fernando Valley.
