President Announces Task Force To Push Assault Weapons Ban

The President announced today that he was appointing a task force to look at solutions to stop gun violence in the United States. “We need to work on making access to mental health care at least as easy as access to a gun,” the President said. He also announced that he was appointing Vice President Joe Biden primarily because of his ability to pass the assault weapons ban in the early 90s.
