NYC Police Seek Unidentified Woman In Second Subway-Push Murder

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Police are continuing to search for a woman suspected of shoving a man to his death in front of a subway train in Queens. The incident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday on the elevated tracks at the 40th Street Station on Queens Boulevard in Sunnyside, which remains closed. Overnight, police released surveillance video of the suspect running away from the station.Police said witnesses saw the woman pacing and mumbling on the platform before taking a seat alone on a wooden bench. Then as the train approached the station, witnesses said she suddenly shot forward, shoving the unsuspecting man onto the tracks and directly into the path of an oncoming Number 7 train. Police have not identified the victim.

Police said the woman seen on the video raced down two flights of stairs after the attack and then disappeared onto a crowded Queens Boulevard.
