White House: Hollywood Skipped Over In Gun Reforms Because Of 'Ignorance' To Science Of Violence

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters today that the reason why violence in Hollywood was not addressed in the President’s reforms is because society is still “ignorant” on the effect of portraying violence translating into real violence. Carney pointed out that the President has directed Congress to fund research on how video games and movies portraying violent realities affect an individual.
