WATCH: Santelli, Lib Economist Have Screaming Match Over GDP

CNBC’s Rick Santelli battled panelists about the current economic numbers today. Santelli said that GDP has consistently been shrinking and said that our spending is going to put the United States in the same category as Europe. Panelists debated Santelli, saying that the GDP drop “didn’t actually happen,” and then teased him for his passionate response. Santelli screamed from the floor, “We’re now Europe,” and brought up the trillion dollar spending by the administration.
