Obama On Owning Economy In 2009: 'Give It To Me'

President Obama on 7/14/09 told a campaign-like rally that his job was to “fix the economy.” Obama said that it was not his job to “gripe” on the “sidelines” and that he would take responsibility of the economy. “Give it to me,” he proclaimed.
