Obama Starts 2014 Fundraising

President Obama will hit the campaign trail for 2014 Democrat colleagues this month to raise money for the mid-term elections over a year away. When asked about why the President — who has expressed concerns over issues such as gun control, immigration, and the sequester — is leaving the White House to raise money for partisan efforts, Deputy Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that Obama has a “responsibility” as the “head” of the Democratic Party.
