WATCH: Boston Subway Door Opens During Ride

BOSTON (WHDH) — Video recorded by a passenger on an MBTA Red Line train shows a T door wide open as the train zoomed along.Myllmaki was riding the train Monday when she noticed the door wasn’t closing. She grabbed her cell phone and started recording.Myllmaki said the train wasn’t very busy, but it was disturbing to see.The MBTA said as soon as they learned about the door the train was pulled out of service. Officials said the door malfunctioned causing it to stay open. The MBTA has a new inspection procedure for older Red Line cars and all of those cars are being inspected, according to the MBTA.This all played out on April Fool’s day, but it was no joke.
