Obama: Civilian Deaths From Drones Will 'Haunt' Me As Long As I Live

President Obama addressed the use of drone strikes on Thursday in a special speech. The President defended his use of drones but acknowledged that the loss of innocent live is unacceptable. “It is a hard fact,” Obama said, “that U.S. strikes have resulted in civilian casualties.” Obama said that for him and those in his “chain of command” the loss of innocent life will “haunt us as long as we live.”
