Cincinnati Agent: IRS Officials 'Purposefully' Mislead Public On Targeting Scandal

Ms. Elizabeth Hofacre, a Revenue Agent in the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division of the Cincinnati IRS office testified before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday that she felt IRS official Lois Lerner mislead the American people when she said “rogue” agents had targeting IRS groups. Lerner has refused to testify before Congress and when compelled, she plead the Fifth Amendment.
