U.N. Inspectors Take Sniper Fire in Syria

(AFP) – The United Nations has made a “strong complaint” to both the Syrian government and opposition leaders after its experts came under sniper fire while investigating claims of chemical weapons use, Ban Ki-moon said in a video statement on Monday. The Secretary General confirmed that the UN team did manage to speak to witnesses and survivors despite the sniper fire.
