Incognito: Trying to Weather the Storm, This Will Pass

NBC: Richie Incognito, the Dolphins offensive lineman who’s suspended for harassing teammate Jonathan Martin, says he believes things will work out in the end.

Incognito made his first public comments when a reporter from Channel 7 in Miami caught up with him as he walked to his car. Incognito said that he didn’t want to talk about the case but does think he can move on.

Asked about the reports that he left a voicemail with Martin calling him the N-word and threatening to kill him, Incognito refused to comment.

Incognito did not reply when asked about his status with the Dolphins, who reportedly plan to release him once his suspension is concluded. For a guy who claims he wants his name cleared, Incognito doesn’t seem eager to explain himself.
