Report: Hamas Bans UN Textbooks — Focus Too Heavily on 'Peaceful' Means of Conflict Resolution

Jewish News One: Gaza’s Hamas authorities have blocked a UN refugee agency from introducing textbooks promoting human rights into local schools, saying they ignore Palestinian cultural mores and focus too heavily on “peaceful” means of conflict resolution. The disputed textbooks, used in grades 7 through 9, apparently do not sufficiently address Palestinian suffering or acknowledge the right to battle Israel.
