Frank Gaffney's Secure Freedom Minute: No Taqiyya in the White House

President Obama has low regard for the intelligence of the American people. He has assured us that: we can safely make concessions to Vladimir Putin; al Qaeda is on the path to defeat; and his deal with Iran has halted its nuclear weapons program.

These and myriad other examples amount to serial national security fraud. It emboldens our enemies, undermines our friends and diminishes our country.The latest example was Mr. Obama’s insistence yesterday that the so-called “president of the Palestinian Authority,” Mahmoud Abbas, has “consistently renounced violence.”

Actually, Abbas has exhibited his own contempt for our intelligence by occasionally – for Western consumption – condemning terrorism, while consistently applauding and enabling it with his own people.

Islamists call such fraudulent statements taqiyya. The practice must not be tolerated in the White House.
