Last Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight blog editor Nate Silver predicted the Republicans had a 60 percent chance of taking control of the U.S. Senate in the upcoming midterm election. Silver faced criticism from some on the left, including New York Times columnist Paul Krugman.
On Thursday’s “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, Silver stuck by that claim and maintained they would handle their critics appropriately in his venture with ESPN.
