Edward Pentin: We're Winning the Culture of Life

Stephen K. Bannon spoke with Edward Pentin, from the National Catholic Register, at the Pontifica Universita in Rome, during events leading up to the canonization of Pope John Paul II and John XXIII.

Pentin chronicled the legacy of Pope John Paul II, particularly among the young, saying he taught them the true nature of freedom, and how that message helped bring on the demise of the Soviet Union.

Pentin also compared the “culture of life” to the “culture of death”, and how the church rates when addressing cultural issues.

Pentin went on to describe the scope of coordination needed among the various agencies, departments, and church officials to pull off a seamless and memorable event like the canonization. Rome is expecting between 2 and 5 million faithful during this weekend’s events.
